The volunteer committee leading the Riverbank Catholic Connection (RCC*) - Work Initiative Meetings and guiding each person to discover and secure his or her personal-work vocation includes:

John Bach, Executive Recruiter & Consultant.

*The RCC is a collaboration of the Cathedral of St. John, Old St. Mary, Our Lady of Divine Providence, Saints Peter and Paul, and Three Holy Women Catholic Parishes in Milwaukee.

The discussion is hosted by The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist every Saturday at 9:30 A.M. in the Center Room (Second Floor) of the Cathedral’s Weakland Center, 831 N. Van Buren St., in downtown Milwaukee.

In the spirit of Judeo-Christian values, the RCC - Work Initiative is dedicated to addressing a broad range of worker and work-related needs. Within an environment of dignity, self-direction, and professionalism, the RCC- WI guides each participant to discover and secure his or her personal-work vocation tailored to the individual’s benefit and that of the community.

The RCC – Work Initiative Meeting is open to ALL individuals in the greater Milwaukee area who need help in their search for meaningful work.

Landings/Alumni:

Current success stories for The RCC – Work Initiative include:

An RCC Candidate with a degree in Archeology recently accepted a full-time union job working as a heavy equipment operator for a local Earth Moving Contractor. Prior to joining the RCC Work Initiative Alumni, this RCC Work Initiative worked part-time.

Another RCC Candidate with a MS degree and CPA designation accepted a position as an Accounting Supervisor with a US Headquartered Health Care Provider in downtown Milwaukee. This candidate was unemployed last fall and now has volunteered to assist other candidates in their search for meaningful work. In addition, he has donated nearly 100 Skill Development CDs for RCC candidates who seek to develop or add to their skill inventory.

An IT Network professional joined the RCC Work Initiative Alumni when he accepted an offer at a Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls. He was unemployed for six months and he was sincerely grateful to everyone who has helped him in his search.
